1972 Chevy Nova Street Legal Hotrod 427 Big Block
This 1972 Chevy Nova from Santa Barbara, CA. 10 years were spent restoring it. It's a street legal pro stock Nova,
with a 427 big block, 396 crank. 3:73 gears. Also has 4 wheel disk
brakes and Weld wheels. It has a little over 1500 miles on the rebuild.
It has 11:5 to 1 compression, custom ground billet solid roller cam with
.600 lift and 238 duration at .50, oval port closed chambered heads
that have been ported and polished with bigger valves, comp cams
stainless steel rocker arms, and a single plane intake with an AED 850
carb. This is a nasty motor. It has a turbo 400 trans that was just
built with a 3000 stall torque converter custom made by Mojave Green. It
also has a ford 8.8 rear end with a Detroit TrueTrac diff with custom
made moser 31 spline axels with a chevy bolt pattern. The interior is
very nice. The only problem with this car is the paint. It has a lot of
cracks.
